It is with sadness that we note the death of Terry Venton ex 327 Squad Inkerman 1952.  Terrys funeral is being held on Wednesday 4th Feb 2004 at 3.00pm at the East London Cemetery, Plaistow, London E13.  All ex comrades and RMP personnel will be welcomed.  Information from Ron Hackett, Australia.

Again with sadness we announce the loss of  ex 200 Provost Company member

Maurice (George) Cole died 1 January 2004 cremated 17 January 2004

He served in 200 Pro Coy 1960-63,173 Pro Coy 1964-69 approx dates. His rank was Corporal

He died of heart failure.

We are sad to report that Alastair Duff Stewart (Jock) passed away during the evening of 13/4/04 whilst in hospital at Perth Royal Infirmary.  Jock served in 200 Provost Company between 1958 & 1960 and was a regular at the 200 reunions.  Jock also served for some time as a 2nd Lt. with an RMP TA unit.  He will be sadly missed by all.

Sadly, my brother Ian Phillips, who was born in Aberdeen, raised in Fife, and was a Corporal with 200 Pro Coy in the early to mid 1960s, passed away at the tender age of 49, after a short battle with lung cancer. Ian began his career in the RMP at Munster, then also served at Minden, Singapore, Edinburgh (twice, I think), Cypress (with the UN), Berlin and Werl (Zoest?). Upon retiring from the army, after 15 years service, he went back to farm work which he had always been fond of, and was managing an egg farm in MacDuff immediately before his untimely death at Banff hospital on 22 July 1989. He is never far from our hearts and our memories.
Harry Phillips, also ex-RMP.
